Responsibilities :

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Provide light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up living areas
- Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences
- Support clients with medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with errands and transportation to appointments as needed (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate documentation of care providedCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to the care team or supervisor




- Follow individualised care plans and organisational policies at all times
- Promote client safety, wellbeing, and infection control practices
- Work independently while following scheduled care visits and timeframes
- Support clients with community access, including protected transport and accompaniment to appointments, social activities, and outings using own vehicle where required

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Certificate iii in individual support and gaed care
- Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, or in a related field preferred.
- Cert iii in individual support or equivalent
- Working with children check
- Current First aid and CPR

- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence is must (own vehicle required; travel is an essential part of the role)
- Must be willing to undergo and pass relevant background checks and meet all state-specific requirements.
- Must be able to drive a car
