KLN Cold Chain (Australia) services some of Australia’s largest retailers, food service manufacturers, fuel convenience operators, pharmaceutical industry, healthcare & Independent supermarkets.
Within Australia KLN Cold Chain (Australia) has its main office in Melbourne, and Head Office and shared services located in South Australia.
KLN Cold Chain are recruiting for an experienced Diesel Technician. This role will work with management and drivers to ensure all company vehicles are always road worthy and protected.
The Diesel Technician will be compliant with workplace and legislative obligations whilst contributing to the efficiency of our fleet of vehicles.
The key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
Repair and maintenance of the fleet and perform preventative maintenance
Minor and major repairs on fleet
Identify and troubleshoot issues in diesel engines and related systems, performing necessary repairs and replacements
Perform detailed inspection of diesel engines, vehicles
Maintaining a parts inventory
Test drive vehicles to ensure roadworthiness
Prepare work orders and ordering of parts.
Maintaining detailed records of services and repairs;
Work closely with other technician and supervisors
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Driver’s License
Experience in similar working environment for at least 5 years
