About the role
MSS Security is seeking Casual and Full Time Reliever Security Officers to join our team at Monash University in Clayton .
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure.
- Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required.
- Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.
- Provide clear directions and assistance to students, staff and visitors to ensure they can navigate the campus efficiently.
- Write reports in response to incidents or unusual activity, ensuring all information is documented.
- Communicate calmly, clearly and effectively with staff, students, and visitors.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a skilled presentation.
- Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
- Ability to walk up to 15-20km a day.
Requirements:
- Full Australian working rights.
- Valid Victorian Security licence.
- Valid Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
- First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
