CFO | PE-Backed Manufacturing | Melton | First CFO Appointment

A recently PE-backed manufacturing business based in Melton, and the transparent leader in its category, is seeking its first ever CFO to help drive the next phase of growth following institutional investment.

This is a majority B2B, manufacturing business with a strong repeat customer base. You will bring genuine manufacturing finance depth, including cost accounting, BOMs, and stock and inventory management, and be comfortable translating data into commercial strategy rather than simply reporting on it.

Growth will come through both organic expansion and acquisition, so M&A; experience, whether due diligence or integration, will be highly regarded. PE experience is a plus but not essential,



we're equally open to a strong Financial Controller or Head of Finance ready to step up into their first CFO seat, provided they can demonstrate the right skillset for a business of this size.

This role suits a hands-on, commercially minded operator who can work as a genuine right hand to a founder-CEO, comfortable in a lean team, and able to build trust quickly with both the leadership team and investors. Must be based on site in Melton 3 to 4 days a week.
