About the role

A unique opportunity to lead a large and diverse Program in the Clinical Operations Directorate. Reporting to the Executive Director Clinical Operations, as the Director of Operations for the Medicine Program you will be responsible for Cancer Services, Acute Medicine, Specialty Medicine and Complex and Continuing Care. This is a pivotal position for Eastern Health with key accountabilities for bed-based services alongside support for interfaces with at home services and Specialist Clinics.

About you

- Demonstrated high-level leadership and change management skills
- Demonstrated clinical and management experience across multiple health professions in multidisciplinary acute and subacute settings
- Post-graduate qualifications at Masters level in management or other appropriate field desirable




- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare financing and budgetary management

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in theAustralian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.

Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
