The Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you'll play a vital role in the distribution operation, ensuring products are moved, stored and loaded safely and efficiently.

Working within a temperature-controlled warehouse, you'll be responsible for supporting the movement of stock between production and transport, preparing customer orders and maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and organisation.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely throughout the warehouse and loading areas.
- Loading and unloading vehicles efficiently while ensuring products are secure for transport.
- Picking and preparing customer orders accurately from order instructions.
- Completing stock rotation and replenishment to maintain product flow and minimise waste.




- Carrying out daily warehouse duties while maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Following all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues across the warehouse, production and transport teams to ensure customer orders leave on time.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (renewed within the last three years).
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a warehouse or distribution business.
- Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
- A positive, reliable and flexible approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety best practices.

Working Hours

- Five days over seven on a rotating shift pattern.
- Monday to Saturday working patterns apply.
- Multiple shift start times from 4:00am.
- Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours worked.

Additional Information

- Applicants will be required to provide a copy of their valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence during the recruitment process.
