The Opportunity
Pacific Talent Partners has been exclusively retained to appoint an independent Non-Executive Director to join the Board of a premier, listed software pioneer specialising in property workflow automation and digital asset management systems. Maintaining a dominant, established position across its target sectors, the organisation is embarking on a highly strategic market evolution. This is a unique, confidential opportunity to join an active Board and guide the disciplined scaling of a business poised to disrupt its sector through modern,
integrated digital infrastructure.
The Role
As an independent Non-Executive Director contributing to the collective oversight of the corporate strategy and reporting directly to the shareholders, you will provide critical commercial insight, modern tech governance, and hands-on coaching. This is not a passive advisory appointment. The position requires a commercially sharp, technology-literate leader with the active bandwidth to engage deeply between formal sessions. You will champion disciplined scale-up methodologies, provide direct executive mentorship, and ensure the company successfully converts a monumental strategic enterprise partnership into sustainable market leadership and long-term shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and advise on a growth-stage commercial acceleration strategy, assisting the transition into a disciplined software scale-up with optimised pricing models, robust customer economics, and accelerated recurring revenue.
- Provide rigorous governance over high-stakes, multi-tiered enterprise partnerships, supervising joint-delivery risks, complex commercial dependencies, and data-sharing frameworks with major tier-1 institutional partners.
- Guide the strategic rollout of integrated transactional architecture, monitoring risk allocation, operational delivery obligations,
and compliance considerations when embedding financial infrastructure into workflow platforms.
- Interrogate and monitor the operational readiness of large-scale customer migrations from legacy software, ensuring implementation frameworks protect customer retention, minimise rollout friction, and sustain strong market confidence.
- Actively contribute to public listing obligations, cyber resilience, and data privacy frameworks, while coaching management on evolving the organisational environment into a delivery-accountable, sales-led culture.
Core Competencies
- Deep, practical experience scaling established enterprise software or B2B SaaS organisations through periods of growth, with a solid grasp of customer success metrics, channel partnerships, and operational scaling.
- A strong commercial orientation with a practical understanding of enterprise pipeline discipline, account planning, and the capability to mentor executive teams on building a repeatable sales-led operating culture.
- Strong operational literacy with transactional platforms, API integrations, digital security compliance, or financial software architectures that handle complex, high-availability workflows.
- Proven capability overseeing high-value strategic alliances, contract risk mitigation, service level structures, and dispute prevention between technology firms and major tier-1 institutional partners.
- High integrity and independent judgement, with a low-ego approach and the proven ability to challenge executive management constructively while maintaining highly collaborative board behaviours.
