About the Role

We're seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to join our team. Reporting directly to leadership, you'll own the finance function end-to-end — from daily operations and month-end close through to reporting, compliance, and systems improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

Finance Operations

- Oversee day-to-day finance across multiple entities
- Coordinate outsourced AP and payroll providers
- Manage supplier payments, bank reconciliations, and sales accounting
- Process partner commissions and royalties
- Support employee onboarding and finance administration

Reporting & Commercial Insights

- Lead month-end close and accounting adjustments
- Prepare monthly management reports and analysis
- Manage budgets, forecasts,



and cash flow reporting
- Oversee inventory stocktakes and adjustments

Governance & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with statutory, payroll, tax, and regulatory obligations
- Maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Manage relationships with external advisors and tax partners

Systems & Process Improvement

- Lead finance and business system implementations
- Act as primary administrator for finance systems and integrations
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies

What We're Looking For

- Warehousing management/Warehousing software experience
- CA or CPA qualified with relevant Accounting or Commerce qualifications
- 5+ years' post-qualification experience
- Strong commercial acumen — able to translate numbers into business insights
- End-to-end finance operations experience including month-end, reporting, budgeting, and payroll oversight
- Experience with Xero and Unleashed highly regarded
- Confident with systems implementations and ongoing administration
- Organised, autonomous, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
