- End-to-end payroll processing (weekly/fortnightly cycles)
- Manage payroll for 100-500+ employees (hourly & salaried)
- Ensure compliance with GRIA (General Retail Industry Award)
- Process PAYG, superannuation, and STP reporting (Phase 2)
- Manage leave processing (annual, personal, long service leave)
- Perform payroll reconciliations (PAYG, super, payroll ledger)
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Work closely with HR and store managers on queries
- Extract and validate time & attendance data from rostering systems
- Support compliance with Fair Work Act, NES, and payroll tax obligations

A successful Part-time Payroll Officer should have:
- 3-5 years payroll experience (ideally retail or hospitality)
- Strong experience with payroll systems (Dayforce highly preferred)
- Solid understanding of GRIA and/or EBAs
- Proven experience processing high-volume payrolls
- Knowledge of STP, PAYG, and superannuation compliance
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a part-time structure
