is seeking an experienced and influential medical leader to establish and lead a newly created Head of Medical Services role supporting healthcare delivery across the Australian Immigration Detention Network.

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Primary Health Services, this pivotal leadership position will provide strategic medical oversight across primary care, mental health, AOD, pharmacy, allied health and virtual care services nationally.

This is a unique opportunity to lead service transformation, strengthen clinical leadership structures, develop future-focused models of care and ensure high-quality, compliant healthcare delivery across a highly regulated and complex workplace.

About You





You are a senior medical leader with demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare services and driving organisational change.

You will bring:

- Fellowship of RACGP, ACRRM, FRACMA or equivalent
- Significant experience in medical leadership and clinical operations
- Strong clinical governance, workforce planning and service redesign capability
- The ability to influence, engage and lead across complex stakeholder environments

Experience within correctional health, justice health, public health, community health or other government-funded healthcare settings will be highly regarded.
