The Role

As an Architectural Draftsperson, you’ll produce accurate, high-quality documentation from concept for tender through to General Arrangement Drawings, permits, and construction drawings.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing concept designs with the Sales team
- Working closely with the Delivery Manager during design development
- Reviewing and coordinating work by external drafting partners
- Producing detailed drawings, 3D models, renders, and documentation packages
- Updating documentation based on client feedback and project changes
- Supporting design standards and continuous improvement
- Liaising with engineers, surveyors, energy raters, and other consultants

There is also scope to specialize in recent product ranges and design enhancements as the business continues to grow.

About You

You bring strong technical capability, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.



You can solve technical problems in areas such as Concrete, Steel and Timber. GRDC has multiple projects in various stages of production at all times so strong time management is critical.

You will have:

- Qualification in Architectural Drafting or better
- 5 Yrs Experience
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (or similar CAD software)
- Strong understanding of commercial construction and buildability
- Structural steel, concrete and foundation design experience (highly regarded)
- Excellent technical drawing, 3D modelling, and rendering skills
- Experience working with external consultants
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Drafting license beneficial but not essential
- Knowledge of Res Code, NCC, and DA obligations
- Familiar with AS1428, 5100, 1720 at a minimum
