About the role

We are looking for a candidate with project management or coordination experience in the audio visual or construction industries. The candidate should be excited by technology, and capable and willing to engage in all aspects of the project delivery life cycle. The multi-faceted role involves the coordination of the operations team, resourcing multiple projects simultaneously, managing clients, partners, builders, contractors, suppliers and vendors, facilitating equipment deliveries and ultimately ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively with the rest of the business, partners and suppliers alike, and have excellent communication skills, bothverbal and written.

This is a part-time role, initially 3 days a week with potential to grow. Ideally the 24 hours would be spread across the week so we have some coverage on each or most days, but this is open for negotiation with the right candidate.

Primary Duties

- Scheduling the necessary operational resources to fulfil project requirements
- Be part of the project team scaling from small to high-value projects.
- Preparing insurance certificates, work permits,



and other OH&S; related documentation
- Streamlining the project initiation process; creating check-lists, site readiness documentations and other artefacts to support the project lifecycle
- Ensuring the necessary equipment related to the project has been ordered and delivered to the correct location
- Coordinating with project management resources from partners and customers
- Coordinating subcontractors and interstate resources
- Accessing quotation and document management tools (SharePoint)
- Creation of project plans as required
- Facilitating project completion; collation of technical and operational manuals, drawings, documentation and technical data
- Receiving equipment in the warehouse and tracking orders and deliveries
- Some interstate travel may be required

Skills & experience

- Experience in Project Coordination or Project Management
- A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies, and previous experience managing small to large projects
- Experience in the Audio Visual, Construction, Electrical or Engineering industry is considered an advantage
- Good understanding of commercial contracts and terms
- Commercial acumen and financial management; able to manage project budgets
- Being able to take direction and then work autonomously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail

- Sound understanding of the Office 365 (SharePoint), MS Office suite
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Be able to read and understand Audio Visual technical drawings
