What You Will Be Doing
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Burleigh Heads in a long-term role. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm.
In this position you will be:
- Pick items from shelves or pallets based on order sheets
- Ensure accurate picking of stock verifying quantities and items to minimize mistakes
- Pack items securely and appropriately to prevent damages during transport
- Label packages accurately with shipping information
- Utilise packing materials efficiently to minimise waste and reduce costs
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse and packing area.
- Assist in inventory management tasks such as occasional stocktakes
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritise orders and meet deadlines
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence & reliable transport
- Previous experience in warehousing environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable & punctual
