The Chance

As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring components and assemblies meet required specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

This is a hands-on role working with precision components, engineering drawings, and inspection equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across production.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Measurement





- Perform manual inspection and measurement of components and assemblies
- Record pre- and post-anodising measurements and maintain accurate data
- Inspect welds and completed assemblies using visual and borescope techniques

Documentation & Reporting

- Create measurement reports, balloon drawings, and quality records
- Prepare Certificates of Conformance and part identification labels
- Maintain work orders, travel sheets, and archived documentation

Assembly Support & Quality Control

- Kit components to BOM requirements
- Assist with Romer Arm scanning and PolyWorks reporting
- Support the resolution of quality issues with production teams

Compliance & WHS

- Follow WHS policies and participate in safety training and toolbox meetings
- Maintain a safe and organised workspace through daily 5S activities

Your Skills & Experience

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Exposure to PolyWorks, CMMs, or Romer Arm equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
