Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Principal Consultant – Technology Services to join our Sydney team.
The Technology Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing technology infrastructure systems, including Audio Visual (AV), Security, Smart Building and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), within the building services industry. The role involves leading both brownfield and greenfield projects, ensuring best practice project delivery while managing costs and timelines, and developing strong client relationships.
This position requires close collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project delivery and high-performing outcomes across both single-discipline and multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or working towards it (highly desirable).
- Any relevant certifications in project management, safety, or software tools (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project) are advantageous; however, not essential.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in engineering consultancy and project delivery.
- Strong client-facing experience, including stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities.
- Experience in preparing and presenting compelling proposals, bids, and capability statements.
- Proven ability to contribute to revenue targets and support business growth strategies.
- Ability to identify and deliver upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing projects and client portfolios.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing junior staff.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and project management tools.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex, multidisciplinary projects.
