About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leader in a role that combines business development, technical sales and relationship management.

You'll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with councils, schools, sporting clubs, contractors, consultants; all within the sports turf industry. Working closely with customers from initial enquiry through to project delivery,



you'll promote HG Sports Turf's innovative natural and hybrid turf solutions while building long-term relationships across the sports turf industry.

You'll work closely with the management team to help shape business growth by supporting initiatives across sales, marketing, operations and commercial performance.

This role is ideal for a highly driven and motivated turf professional who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges and identifying opportunities to grow market share.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Victoria.
- Drive strategic initiatives across sales, marketing, operations and commercial performance to support the continued growth of HG Sports Turf.
- Build and manage relationships with councils, schools, sporting clubs, contractors, consultants and commercial clients.
- Promote HG Sports Turf's natural and hybrid turf systems.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and tender submissions.
- Conduct customer meetings, site inspections and project follow-ups.
- Work closely with Production, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Operations and Finance teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide technical advice and recommend suitable turf solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
- Represent HG Sports Turf at industry events,



conferences and customer functions.

Qualifications, Experience & Industry Knowledge

- Minimum 10 years' experience within the natural and/or hybrid turf industry, with demonstrated technical and commercial expertise.
- Proven success in business development, technical sales, customer service, quality assurance and key account management.
- Experience and strong understanding of natural and/or hybrid turf systems, their applications and customer requirements.
- Experience in preparing quotations, tenders and technical proposals and presentations.
- Solid business management skills with examples of adopting best-practice.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
