What’s the prospect?

This is a residential, hands-on role where no two days are the same. Working across the Castle Hill Open Pit operation,you’llhelp keep pumps, pipelines and dewatering systems running safely and reliably to support mining activities. If you enjoy working outdoors, taking ownership of yourworkand solving practical problems, this isa great opportunityto build your skills in a large-scale gold mining operation.

Based at our Mungari Operations on an 8:6residentialroster(Monday-Monday), and reporting to the Mining & Ore Haulage Contracts Superintendent,you’ll:

- Keep mining operations moving by installing,relocatingand maintaining dewatering pipelines,pumpsand associated infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot diesel-powered pumping systems to minimise downtime and production delays.
- Conduct inspections, fault finding and preventative maintenance activities across a large operational footprint.
- Support operational readiness activities,



site infrastructure moves and general site services as required.
- Build strong working relationships with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders while working independently.
- Champion safe work practices, environmental compliance and high housekeeping standards in everything you do.

Does this sound like you?

We’rekeen to hear from individuals who bring practical dewatering experience and enjoy working in autonomous, field-based environments.

You will ideally have:

- Experience in dewatering, pumping or water management within mining, civil, infrastructure or industrial operations
- Demonstrated experience working with pumps, pipelines and water transfer systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
- A strong commitment to safety and risk management
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to work with a variety of stakeholders
- Competent computer skills with the ability to maintain accurate records
- A current WA C Class Driver’s Licence

Highly regarded:

- Open pit mining experience
- Dogman ticket
- Front End Loader, Integrated Tool Carrier (IT) or Excavator operating experience
- Knowledge of pump curves and pumping system performance
