About the role. Caterpillar Inc. is seeking dedicated MineStar® Application Specialists to join our team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers by enhancing their experience with our MineStar® technology. You will collaborate with various teams to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency.

What you’ll do

- Provide technical support for the MineStar® applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.

Requirements

- A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software applications and their implementation in a mining context.




- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with mining operations and equipment.
- Experience with project management methodologies.

Skills & tools

- Proficiency in software troubleshooting and customer support tools.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience with MineStar® technology is a plus.
