The Opportunity

We are seeking a Project Analyst to join our team in a full-time, site-based capacity, providing operational support to our client's site team. This is a hands‑on role for someone looking to build broad, practical mining exposure. You'll be embedded on site, working closely with operators and supervisors across functions such as Short Interval Control and dispatch, and adapting quickly as priorities shift day to day. We're after someone highly adaptable who wants to learn how a mine site really operates.

What the Role Entails

- Provide operational support across site functions.
- Coordinate with operators and supervisors to keep shift information, schedules, and production data flowing accurately.




- Engage with a variety of site personnel and departments to support smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in operational processes and workflows, and support their implementation on site.
- Build working relationships across departments to understand how the site operates end to end.
- Adapt quickly to changing site priorities, picking up new tasks and projects as they arise.
- Prepare and analyse technical mining data to identify areas for improvement.
- Undertake additional duties to support the team as required.

What You Will Need

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- 2+ years' experience in and around mining, ideally with some site exposure (e.g. short interval control, dispatch, or similar operational roles).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly adaptable, with a genuine interest in gaining broad, hands‑on mining exposure rather than a narrow specialisation.
- Willingness to work full‑time, site‑based.
- Ambition and initiative to drive outcomes.
