We're looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters and Maintenance Fitters to join an established industrial site, providing ongoing mechanical maintenance and breakdown support.

Our client is looking to bring on reliable, hands-on fitters ready to hit the ground running on breakdowns and scheduled maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing





- Reactive breakdown maintenance and fault-finding on plant and equipment
- Scheduled/preventative maintenance in line with PM programs
- Pump, gearbox, conveyor, and bearing repairs and replacements
- Precision alignment using laser or dial indicator methods
- Root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures
- Reading and working from mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Fabrication and modification of mechanical components as required
- Working within a CMMS (e.g. SAP, Maximo, or similar) to log work orders
- Participating in shutdowns and planned outages
- Liaising with electricians, operators, and other trades

What You'll Bring

- Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter/Fitter & Turner (essential)
- Solid breakdown and reactive maintenance experience
- Drivers Licence
- EWP ticket (highly regarded)
- Working at Heights ticket (highly regarded)
- Confined Spaces ticket (highly regarded)
- Forklift/Telehandler ticket (highly regarded)
- Rigging/Dogging tickets (highly beneficial)

Ideal Background

You might have worked in industrial plants, water treatment facilities, mining, manufacturing, or processing environments, with hands-on breakdown and preventative maintenance experience – if that sounds like you, we want to talk.
