Benefits

- This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $80,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation.

Task & responsibilities

Read and interpret plans and specifications to determine tile layouts and installation requirements. Measure, mark, and prepare wall and floor surfaces for tiling, including removing existing tiles, adhesives, and grout, and repairing uneven surfaces. Apply waterproofing systems to wet areas in accordance with project requirements.

Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, slate, glass,



mosaic, and other tiles using appropriate adhesives and installation techniques. Create decorative tile layouts and mosaic patterns where required. Cut and shape tiles to fit around corners, edges, fixtures, fittings, and pipework using hand and power tools.

Grout, seal, and clean completed tiled surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards. Follow workplace health and safety procedures while maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean and organised work area.

Qualification & experience

Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.

Skilled in the use of tiling tools and equipment. Understanding of waterproofing methods and materials. Sound knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to tiling and waterproofing.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Salary: $80000-85000
