Inhouse Provisional Psychologist Program:
As a Provisional Psychologist, understanding the pathway to General Registration can be overwhelming, which is why Pinnacle Rehab have carefully designed a tailored psychological internship program to support you on your registration journey, whether you are currently completing your Masters studies and looking to work in the psychological field (AWOP) or have entered into your internship year (5+1).
Within the Psychological Division you will be exposed to the key learningobjectivesof psychological practice, board approved supervision, career development and understanding the assessment tasks which will prepare you for the National Psychology Exam.

The Opportunity
Due to growth across the business and our expanding Psych Division we currently have a new opportunity for aMaster ofPsychology Graduate or experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor looking for more exposure to complex psych claims to join our Team!
Full induction, training, and buddy system provided to set you up for success. Including weekly and monthly team meetings targeted at developing your exposure to different psychometricsassessments and interventions.
In your new role you will manage a portfolio of clients with a psychologicalinjury, creating and monitoring rehabilitation planswhich aimto gradually return your clients back to work.
You will develop the skills needed to conduct motivational interviews with clients as well as influencing stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.
Looking after a client portfolio, your day will include:
- Completinginitialpsychological assessments which will provide a comprehensivelook into an injured workersbiopsychosocial barrier's
- Providing a tailored intervention approach to recoveryand developingappropriatereturn to work plans
- Conductingvocationalassessments,rehabilitationand vocational counselling and motivational interviewing techniques
- Providing support through recommendations for community assistance or additional support through the insurer
- Working within amulti-disciplinary team to provide complex stakeholdermanagementto support the recovery of an injured worker
- Document case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements, applying your clinical judgement to support and guide your clientsto a safe return to work goal.

About You
- General Registration with AHPRA orASORC
- Tertiary degree as a Psychology (Hons) or Masters in Psychology
- Car and valid Driver's license
- Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work in autonomously and as part of a team
