Join one of Australia's leading Heavy Lift and Specialised Transport companies. Doolan's Project Services is seeking experienced Self-propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) operators to join our growing Heavy Lift Team.

As part of the Doolan's Special Projects Team, you will receive excellent hourly rates, penalties and allowances.

About the Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

The Safe operation and configuration of SPMT's

Transporting and positioning OSOM and ultra heavy loads

Assisting with load-outs, load-in's and Heavy Lift operations

Reading, interpreting and following transport and heavy lift drawings

Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment maintenance

Working closely with supervisors, engineers, riggers, doggers and crane crews





Maintaining the highest standards of SAFETY and professIonalisim

Travelling to project sites throughout Victoria and interstate when required

About You!

Previous proven experience operating SPMT's (Scheuerle, Goldhofer or equivalent)

Heavy Haulage and/or heavy lift experience

A strong mechanical aptitude

A strong commitment to working as a Team

Ability to work days, nights, weekends and away when required

A very solid SAFETY First mindset

The following would be advantageous:

Dogging or Rigging tickets

EWP (elevated work platform)

Telehandler or other plant experience

Experience with hydraulic jacking, skating, skidding and hydraulic gantry operations
