- The Head of Commercial Excellence & Marketing is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving commercial performance, customer engagement, marketing excellence, digital transformation, and business growth across the organisation.
- Working collaboratively with the Executive Team and Business Unit Leaders, this role develops and embeds best-practice commercial capabilities, delivers data-driven insights, enhances customer experience, and leads the company's marketing and digital strategy.
- The role also oversees the corporate brand, website, social media presence, customer and supplier engagement initiatives, and strategic commercial projects, ensuring the business is equipped with the systems, processes and market intelligence required to achieve sustainable long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities





- Sales Excellence & Commercial Capability - Lead the continuous improvement of commercial performance across all business units.
- Commercial Analytics & Business Intelligence - Provide accurate, timely commercial insights to support executive decision making.
- Customer Experience & Voice of Customer - Develop customer-centric programs that strengthen long-term relationships.
- Market Intelligence & Strategic Growth - Support strategic business growth through market analysis.
- Digital Enablement & AI - Lead digital transformation initiatives that improve commercial effectiveness.
- Strategic Projects & Commercial Excellence - Lead business-wide initiatives that improve commercial performance.
- Marketing & Brand Leadership - Own the company's marketing function.
- Website & Digital Presence - Lead the organisation's digital presence.
- Social Media & Corporate Communications - Manage the organisation's external communications.

Skills & Experience Essential

- 8–10+ years' experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, Marketing, Strategy or Business Performance
- Proven leadership experience in a commercial setting
- Experience managing CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
- Strong commercial reporting and business analytics capability
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms




- Strong understanding of customer experience programs and Voice of Customer initiatives
- Demonstrated success delivering strategic commercial projects
- Experience developing sales capability and commercial processes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Strong project management and change management capability

Desirable

- Experience within B2B industrial, manufacturing, chemicals, distribution or technical industries
- AI, automation and digital transformation experience
- Marketing strategy and digital marketing leadership
- Website development and SEO knowledge
- Experience leading commercial transformation initiatives

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Science or related discipline
- Qualifications in Sales, Marketing or Business Management
- Additional training in Salesforce, CRM, Power BI, Project Management, Change Management, Digital Marketing or AI technologies is highly regarded
