Southern Boone Middle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School 6th Grade Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate believes that all students can achieve high levels of learning and is committed to fostering academic success in a supportive, engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality science instruction aligned with district and state standards
- Create a positive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment




- Use effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Collaborate with colleagues as part of a Skilled Learning Community
- Monitor and assess student learning to inform instruction
- Maintain open and effective communication with students, families, and staff

Qualifications

- Valid Missouri teaching certificate for the position assigned (required)
- Solid commitment to student achievement and continuous improvement
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
