New Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will facilitate the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. Your clinical expertise and guidance will support clients in regaining independence, improving their quality of life, and reintegrating into the community and workforce.

Responsibilities

- Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole‑of‑person approach to rehabilitation
- Complete a range of assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS)
- Identify potential return‑to‑work pathways in line with expected recovery milestones using lateral thinking and forward‑planning skills
- Perform injury‑management assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants, employing clinical experience and problem‑solving skills




- Work closely with stakeholders—clients, families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals—to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors
- Present case information to stakeholders and provide credible recommendations to achieve desired outcomes

Qualifications

- Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current drivers’ licence and access to own transport
- Full Australian working rights
