The Opportunity:
Lumus Imaging are currently looking for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our young friendly medical imaging team as the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor at the Werribee Mercy Hospital. The site consists of the one SPECT scanner servicing the hospital's in-patients and also some outpatient work and you would be responsible for maintaining this service, for driving growth, and for ensuring an excellent standard of imaging and patient care to the community. An exciting feature of this opportunity is the imminent replacement of the scanner with a brand new SPECT in the coming months, and it will be a great experience to be involved with the set up of the new equipment, and to work with the latest technology.
The Lumus Imaging department at WMH is continuously developing with the existing facilities and also the addition of a new ED department opening in October. If you have CT accreditation there may also be provision to maintain your competencies in this modality. There are On-call duties available,
and these will be shared between the successful candidate and staff from some of our other Lumus Imaging sites.

To be successful:
- Commitment to the provision and promotion of quality health care within the confines of a multi-camera private practice setting
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or above
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients,
staff and other medical and non-medical personnel
- A recognised qualification in Nuclear Medicine
- A good level of experience in general NM and SPECT/CT. Knowledge of the GE scanning platform would be an advantage but not a necessity.
- AHPRA registration
