The Alexander Aged Care Centre is seeking compassionate, respectful and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Permanent Part Time basis.

We are a vibrant 90 bed aged care facility in Clayton with a proud history of providing dedicated, person centred care to our predominantly Greek resident community. We are looking for PCAs who want to make a genuine difference, build meaningful relationships with residents and be part of a team that cares about both our residents and each other.

Current roster opportunities

We currently have multiple Permanent Part Time roster lines available, with successful applicants offered approximately 6 to 7 shifts per fortnight.

Available shift times include:

AM shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm
PM shift: 3:00pm to 9:00pm/10:00pm
Occasional night shift: 10:00pm to 7:00am

Applicants with availability across Tuesdays, Wednesdays, weekends and PM shifts will be highly regarded.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily care needs while promoting dignity, independence and quality of life. You will work closely with our nursing and clinical leadership team to ensure residents receive protected, respectful and person centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing personal care and daily living support to residents
- Assisting with mobility, meals,



hygiene and comfort
- Supporting residents with dignity, patience and respect
- Reporting changes in resident wellbeing to nursing staff
- Working collaboratively with nurses, carers and the wider care team
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues

What you will need

- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent
- Current National Police Record Check, or willingness to obtain
- Right to work in Australia
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Influenza vaccination 2026
- Current COVID vaccination status
- Availability to work a minimum of 6 to 7 shifts per fortnight

Highly desirable

Greek language skills are highly desirable, as they help many of our residents feel more comfortable, connected and at home.
