Trans Communications Pty Ltd is a communications company operating in Queensland. We sell, repair and install communications equipment and provide services to Construction Companies, City Councils, Security Companies, Shopping Centres, Airports, Hotels, Resorts, all manner of industries etc.

They require a Communications Technical Officer to join their team in Brisbane.

The Communications Technical Officer will carry out technical support functions for communications networks and install radio using electromagnetic wave, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE communication systems.

Key responsibilities include:

- Advanced communications systems programming;
- Analyse technical problems using communications test equipment and make "on-air tests" in accordance with customer operational environments;
- Apply expertise in maintaining of communications systems using electromagnetic wave, Wi‑Fi and 4G LTE platforms;
- Building and testing of complex communication systems;
- Creating bills of materials for installation of communications systems;




- Responsibility for designing and specification of communications solutions to meet our customer's communication requirements;
- Diagnose and correct malfunctions related to third party system equipment, including linking microwave, multiplexing equipment, communications antenna and power systems;
- Onsite installation and commissioning of communications controls;
- Onsite technical support;
- Reporting directly to the General Manager;
- To grow branch revenue by providing a high level of service and technical advice in satisfying customer needs;
- To profitably develop the Trans Communications Pty Ltd business within the Queensland market given the general guidelines prescribed by the General Manager and Company policies;
- Verify conformance of each customer's frequency and power output for compliance with prescribed equipment specification, maintenance inspection plan and ACMA regulations.

To be considered you will need a relevant Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Trade and at least 2 years of relevant employment experience OR at least 3 years of relevant employment experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $80,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
