About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Window Furnishings Consultant to join our team at our Clayton, VIC location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our sales operations. As a Window Furnishings Consultant, you will be the key point of contact for our customers, guiding them through our extensive range of window furnishings products and helping them make informed decisions that meet their needs, style preferences and budgets. This role is fundamental to our business success, as you will be responsible for converting customer enquiries into sales whilst building long-term relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Greet customers and conduct thorough consultations to understand their window furnishings requirements, aesthetic preferences and budget constraints

Present and demonstrate a wide range of window furnishings products including all manner of internal window furnishings , external awnings such as Zip screens and Folding arm awnings and other bespoke solutions

Provide expert advice on product features, benefits, materials, colours, styles, and installation options

Prepare accurate quotes and pricing proposals for customers





Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and manage any concerns or complaints professionally

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, preferences and purchase history

Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators

Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends and competitor offerings

Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and share knowledge with colleagues

What we're looking for

Proven experience in sales within the home furnishings, interior design industries.

Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with customers

Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs

Solid organisational skills with attention to detail in order processing and documentation

Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about window furnishings products and features

Customer service excellence and a genuine passion for helping clients find solutions

Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale software

Professional appearance and demeanour

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

A valid driver's licence is advantageous
