Site Supervisor – Medium Density Residential Projects - Port Stephens

About The Company:

My client is a nationally recognised property and lifestyle business that is expanding its residential construction capability across NSW. With a significant pipeline of land lease community developments planned, they are investing heavily in building a high-performing construction team and establishing industry-leading systems and processes. This is a unique opportunity to join the business at an exciting stage of growth and play a key role in shaping the future of their residential construction operations.

The Role:

Reporting into the Construction leadership team, you will take ownership of the delivery of approximately 58 residential homes within a major land lease community development in Port Stephens. As Site Manager, you will coordinate trades and subcontractors, drive construction programmes, maintain quality standards and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within company expectations. As one of the first key appointments within the residential construction division, you will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on systems, processes and operational improvements as the business continues to grow.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the construction of residential homes from commencement through to completion

• Coordinating trades, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve programme targets

• Driving site productivity and maintaining construction schedules





• Conducting quality inspections and ensuring homes are delivered to a high standard

• Managing WHS compliance and site safety requirements

• Maintaining project documentation and compliance records through digital platforms including Procore and Evolve

• Working closely with development, construction and customer-facing teams

• Managing stakeholder relationships including trades, contractors and community representatives

• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the ongoing development of the construction division

• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with company standards

About You:

This role is suited to an experienced residential construction professional who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a structured workplace and is excited by the opportunity to join a growing business with significant long-term potential.

To be successful, you will possess:

• Previous experience delivering residential homes within either a volume home builder or medium density residential developer/builder environment

• Approximately 6–10 years of experience in residential construction working as a Supervisor

• Strong understanding of residential construction methodologies and sequencing

• Carpentry trade background highly regarded





• Certificate IV in Building & Construction and/or Builder's Licence advantageous but not essential

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working with construction management and document control systems

• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions on site

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and solutions-focused mindset

• Stable employment history demonstrating commitment and longevity

• A willingness to embrace new systems, processes and ways of working
