Our client is a US-headquartered global industrial MNC specializing in highly engineered flow control and critical technology solutions.
As a HR Business Partner for Australia, reporting to the Asia Pacific HR Head and dotted to the Australia MD, this role will build HR strategy and operations to be both a strategic and hands-on contributor to the company in partnering with the business to develop and execute our people’s initiatives.
The Australia operations is a sales, services and aftermarket business.
- Partner with business and functional leadership in Australia to develop, implement and deploy people strategy in a way that delivers maximum value, identifying specific requirements to attract, engage, develop and reward the best talent across the organization.
- Lead staffing process and activities, including budget, workforce planning, employer branding, hiring needs clarification, interview, on boarding and induction till passing probation period.
- Drive succession planning and talent development in Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in developing diversity and inclusion as a key part of organizational culture and sustaining through aligned HR programs, policies and practices.
- Experienced Labor relations and Union management or labor management council.
Interact with local labor and HR related government agencies.
- Experience leading complex company-wide transformations across large, global organizations (operating model design, culture change, consumerization of the employee experience).
- Enable efficient, scalable, and customer-centric operations; as well as drive a culture of higher performance and employee engagement.
- Build employer image and retention activities in terms of monetary, development and career opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources Business Partner roles in industrial/engineering MNCs with solid management skills
- In depth understanding of the links between Business Strategy and People Strategy
- Knowledge of Local HR policies, processes, and legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders
- Proven experience of managing complex, Drives results and quality, with reasonable data analytical knowledge
