About the role:

- Operate an 8-tonne excavator safely and efficiently.
- Perform trenching, drainage, bulk earthworks, and final trim work.
- Read and interpret site plans and excavation drawings.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance.
- Work around underground and overhead services safely.
- Follow all WHS policies, procedures, and environmental requirements.
- Assist with general labouring duties when required.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and site crews to meet project deadlines.

About you:

- Valid Excavator Operator competency/ticket.
- Proven experience as an 8T Excavator Operator in civil construction.
- Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
