Backed by a community-focused ownership structure, the business prides itself on safe, sustainable operations and is seeking a Site Senior Executive (SSE) to provide leadership and ensure compliance across its quarry operations.

Your new role

As the Site Senior Executive (SSE), you will be responsible for the protected and effective management of quarry operations, ensuring compliance with Queensland mining and quarrying legislation while leading site personnel and contractors. This role offers an opportunity for either an experienced SSE or an emerging leader with a Quarry Manager background ready to step into the position.

What you’ll need to succeed

- SSE 20 and Under Notice/Qualification (essential).
- Previous experience as a Quarry Manager or Site Senior Executive.
- Strong understanding of Queensland quarrying and mining legislation.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health,



safety and risk management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing day-to-day operational activities within a quarrying environment.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of site performance.
