We're currently looking to speak with experienced Rehabilitation Officers about a range of upcoming opportunities within a large Federal Government organisation based in Canberra. Whether you're looking for a contract, permanent role or are interested in a Section 26 transfer, we'd love to hear from you. These positions will see you supporting employees through injury management and return-to-work programmes, while working closely with managers, health practitioners and other key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
What you'll be doing
- Managing rehabilitation and return-to-work cases
- Developing and monitoring recovery-at-work plans
- Providing advice around injury management and workplace adjustments
- Liaising with employees, managers, medical providers and relevant stakeholders
- Supporting a positive approach to employee wellbeing and recovery
- Ensuring processes align with relevant legislation and policy frameworks
What we are looking for
- Rehabilitation and injury management
- Return-to-work coordination
- Case management
- WHS or employee wellbeing
- Workers compensation or Comcare environments
You’ll be a solid communicator, comfortable building relationships with a variety of stakeholders and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
An NV1 clearance would be fantastic, but it's certainly not essential. Our client is open to building a pipeline of strong candidates who are eligible to obtain a clearance and willing to go through the process. This could be a great opportunity for someone currently in a stable role or on a longer-term contract who is open to planning their next move.
What you'll get in return
- Opportunities from APS5 through to EL1 equivalent levels
- Contract, permanent and Section 26 options available
- Supportive teams and meaningful work
- Future career opportunities within the Federal Government sector
- Competitive remuneration based on experience
Please note: Australian Citizenship is required, and successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.
