About the Business Unit:
The Infrastructure, Property and Accommodation (IPA) unit works in collaboration with program areas and communities to deliver justice services that are efficient, effective and integrated around community and client needs.
About the Role:
The Justice Officer provides administration and client service duties, as required by the locations and the region. As such, the role is part of a regional administration team, and therefore requires a commitment to team building and the efficient delivery of administrative services across the region. The region delivers a range of services including Community Correctional Services, Sheriff's Operations, Youth Justice and front of house enquiries including Births, Deaths and Marriages application lodgements.
Some of your duties will include:
- Provide administrative support and client services relevant to the location.
- Provide inform.ation and assistance to clients, internal and external stakeholders and the public including the collation, review and processing of applications.
- Provide reception and telephone responses for the location.
This is a Bayside role,
primarily based at the Frankston JSC with the expectation of flexibility to also assist at other South Area Justice Service Centres.
A current Victorian driver's licence is required.
About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations would be advantageous.
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary service delivery team would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include reference checks, national police checks and misconduct screening. Dependant on the role, other checks may include VicRoads checks, drivers licence checks, medical checks, Working with Children Checks, and Declaration of Private Interests (for executive and responsible officer roles).
