You've optimised a site, watched the results happen, and felt that quiet satisfaction nobody outside the industry understands. At Digital Surfer, we've spent years building a search agency Australia actually respects. We run SEO, Paid Ads, Build Websites, and a fast-growing AI SEO approach for a solid book of Australian & International businesses. Our clients stick around for the long game, which means we're not chasing quick wins. We're a small, sharp team where the work is real, and the standard is high. Nobody hides here, and nobody gets lost here either.

Our GM Ryan started as an SEO specialist at Digital Surfer and worked his way up to running the overall team. That's the culture in one sentence: if you're positive and you want it, there's a path.

What you'll do

You’ll work live client accounts from your first week, not busywork. Under our General Manager’s lead and supported by our technical team, you’ll:

- Lead client communications, monthly reporting meetings, and account health.
- Develop detailed SEO strategies across a range of clients & industries.
- Run on-page, off-page and technical SEO strategies across a portfolio of client accounts
- Own ROI tracking, monthly reporting, and conveying real results to our clients.
- Handle fundamental SEO, site structure, internal linking, meta tags, and overall content optimisations
- Run keyword and competitor research, and support content briefs




- Post and update page and blog content in WordPress (Divi or Elementor) and Shopify
- Build Google Business Profile posting strategies and keep local SEO tight
- Use Claude to lift the quality and speed of your work, not to phone it in

What we need to see

- 1 to 3+ years hands-on SEO experience, agency or in-house
- Solid on-page and technical fundamentals, and genuine hunger to go deeper
- Confidence across GSC, GA4, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, a rank tracker, and Agency Analytics
- GA4 certification, or the drive to knock it over early
- A clear communicator who can explain what you did and why it moved
- High attention to detail and the time management to juggle multiple accounts

Desired Bonus: exposure to AI SEO / GEO, Digital PR, or a real read on where search is heading.

Salary Range: 70k-85k + Super (Depending on experience)
