One of Australia's most active Data & AI practices is seeing strong demand across financial services, government, and retail and needs an experienced Snowflake Architect to join the team. The practice has back-to-back global Snowflake partnership awards and a pipeline of large-scale enterprise mandates.

The role

You will design and deliver Snowflake-based data platforms for enterprise clients, owning the solution from architecture through to implementation. That means hands-on work: data modelling, pipeline design, Snowflake performance tuning, and integrations with cloud and orchestration tooling. Beyond the build, you will work alongside senior stakeholders to shape requirements, support presales engagements, and provide technical guidance to delivery teams. The practice is actively embedding GenAI into its platform work, so there is real opportunity to work across Cortex, vector search, and AI-ready platform design.

What you'll bring

- Deep Snowflake expertise: virtual warehouses, micro-partitioning, clustering,



query optimisation, RBAC, data masking, resource monitoring
- Strong data modelling background: star/snowflake schema, warehouse design best practices for Snowflake environments
- Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and integration with ETL tooling such as dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, or Matillion
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable in client-facing and presales contexts: requirements gathering, architecture communication, stakeholder management
- Australian citizenship or PR required

Good to have

- Snowpark experience (Python, Java, or Scala)
- Snowflake Cortex and AI/ML capabilities
- Consulting or skilled services background
