Clarke Energy is a fast‑growing power generation company specializing in gas engine power stations and combined heat and power technology, providing solutions to a range of sectors including mining, water, agriculture and manufacturing.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team as part of the EPC Business, reporting to the Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer. This key role leads mechanical design, supports project delivery, and provides technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle from tendering to commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering and drafting resources across multiple EPC projects.
- Prepare and review mechanical designs, specifications and technical documentation.
- Support tender development through design input, estimating and technical evaluation activities.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage procurement activities for mechanical equipment and materials.
- Support construction, commissioning and testing activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach,



mentor and support the professional development of engineering and drafting personnel.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Engineering qualification.
- Experience delivering mechanical engineering solutions within EPC, industrial or energy infrastructure environments.
- Proven ability to coordinate projects and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical design, procurement, construction and commissioning processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving, organisational and project management skills.
- CPEng, NER or RPEQ qualifications will be highly regarded.
