- Design and develop test systems, wiring harnesses, signal simulators, load boxes and communication interfaces
- Develop prototype hardware, firmware and software tools to support repair validation and diagnostics

- Analyse system architectures, communication protocols and hardware design
- Develop robust verification and validation processes to improve first-pass yield and minimise warranty returns
- Build and document commercially viable repair methodologies
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers and internal stakeholders to identify and deliver new repair opportunities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes, lab capability and product development methodologies

What We’re Looking For

- Degree qualification in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical or similar Engineering discipline
- Experience in electronic or mechatronic product development environments
- Solid hands‑on skills with prototyping, testing and hardware development
- Experience designing and building electronic test systems, harnesses or diagnostic equipment
- Exposure to embedded systems, firmware, scripting or automotive communications protocols highly regarded
