Role Overview

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, we are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our B2B Commercial and Card Division. The role will develop and execute the sales plan and strategy for selling Ampol’s portfolio of products, focusing on fuel, lubricants, Ampol card and future energy solutions. You will lead a team of up to five direct reports and manage mid‑tier commercial accounts across mining, industrial, agriculture, road transport and construction sectors. This is a hybrid position based in Sydney, with flexible travel across NSW and ACT.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategically promote the full range of Ampol products and services.
- Identify and target current growth opportunities while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Provide monthly reviews to the National Sales Manager, focusing on improvement areas and corrective actions within the 90‑day plans.
- Conduct monthly business reviews, performance and growth plans, and coaching sessions with direct reports.
- Collaborate with the BDM Commercial to develop the market strategy.
- Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Represent Ampol at B2B events and meetings, including the Cross‑Functional Planning Team.
- Travel flexibly across NSW and ACT as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role with strong strategic sales skills;
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and coach a high‑performance team;
• Negotiation experience with complex, high‑value customers and contracts;
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills;
• Expertise in sales reporting and analytics;
• Knowledge of the fuel industry is desirable.
