Stellar Maintenance is recruiting on behalf of a major owner-operator for multiple permanent Underground Auto Electrician opportunities across WA.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a large fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment, carrying out:

- Diagnose electrical faults on mobile mining equipment
- Repair and maintain electrical systems and components
- Complete breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
- Install and test wiring, lighting and communication systems
- Service starters,



alternators, batteries and charging systems
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and rectify faults
- Complete scheduled inspections and equipment servicing
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow site safety procedures and complete Take 5s/JHAs

Experience we’re looking for

- Australian recognised Auto Electrician trade qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ mining experience on underground heavy mobile plant machinery
- Strong experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment
- Proven diagnostic and fault‑finding ability
- Experience on CAT (R1700, R2900, Sandvik (L&H; and Drills), Volvo IT and Normet, Epiroc or similar OEM equipment
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence

Compliance Requirements

- Current Australian work rights
- National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Pre‑employment Medical (within 12 months), or willingness to complete one
- Ability to obtain all required site inductions and access
