The Role

In this role, you will be based in Regional WA working on a variety of civil infrastructure projects. You will work closely with site personnel, management, and other key stakeholders ensuring the safe delivery of the contract. The role is responsible for all safety considerations onsite, ensuring that the client's specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress, and liaising with various professionals.

We are looking for someone confident and passionate about strengthening our current systems and driving a strong safety culture.

FIFO chance to work on a 2:1 roster.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections, monitoring, and analysis of work areas with operations teams.
- Identify and resolve site safety issues, recommending solutions to key personnel.
- Provide post-incident advice, lead investigations, and manage end-to-end reporting.
- Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and policies.
- Collaborate with management on project risk assessments.
- Manage and support event reporting via the Bugarrba system.
- Develop, deliver, and improve HSE training and inductions for employees.
- Report weekly (or as required) to the HSE Operations Manager.
- Attend and contribute to scheduled safety meetings.
- Support Injury Management and RTW with the Group Case Manager.
- Facilitate internal training programs as required.





The successful applicant will ideally have:

- Previous experience in a similar role (civil, mobile plant, infrastructure)
- Certificate IV in WHS (Mandatory)
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (Desirable)
- Current C Class Driver's License (Mandatory)
- Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) Training (Desirable)
- Good working knowledge of WHS Legislation
- Strong computer software skills including MS Office, Outlook and MyOSH
- Demonstrated experience in effective HSQE management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and data processing accuracy
- Proven Experience in leading Investigation TraininG
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical, inclusive of D&A; screen
