Vic builder seeking an experienced supervisor to support an interstate project then returned to Vic business.

Our client is an established residential builder with strong foundations in the Melbourne market and a growing presence across Queensland. Renowned for delivering quality homes and exceptional customer experiences, they have secured a significant project pipeline that has created a unique opportunity for an experienced Melbourne-based Building Supervisor to transfer to Townsville and assist in the setup and delivery of a busy residential construction portfolio with a planned return to their strong Victorian business after a minimum of 12 months. This role offers the chance to broaden your experience in a new market while remaining connected to the Melbourne business, with a mapped out return to their Victorian business, subject to business and market conditions.

Your new role
As a Building Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the construction of predominantly single-storey residential homes throughout the Townsville region. Working across approximately 20 active detached sites at a time, you will ensure homes are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
An established trade network and support structure are already in place, allowing you to focus on site leadership, build quality and customer outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing residential construction projects from site start through to completion and handover
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Driving safety,



quality and programme outcomes across multiple sites
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations and standards
- Managing customer expectations and delivering a positive client experience
- Supporting and mentoring trades and site personnel
- Demonstrating strong leadership capability with the potential to progress into a Construction Manager pathway

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience supervising residential home builds
- Robust knowledge of residential construction practices and relevant building regulations
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive leadership style with ambitions to progress into a broader management role
- Relevant trade or construction qualifications (highly regarded)
