About the opportunity:
Across the business, we have an exciting growth which you will be a significant contributor to. We are now looking for a Die Cutter (Bobst) Trainee to join our team in Arndell Park NSW on afternoon shift.
Reporting to the Operations/Production Manager, Cartons, you will be an integral member of the Production team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Learn the safe and efficient operation of Bobst die cutting equipment.
- Assist with machine set-up, tooling preparation and material handling.
- Support production activities to achieve quality, safety and productivity targets.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
- Work with team members to identify and resolve production issues.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Contribute positively to a team-focused manufacturing environment.
- You will contribute to all steps in our production process and practices including, Quality, Safety, Good Manufacturing practice (GMP) housekeeping and Environmental control measures.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging or a production environment is advantageous but not essential.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills.
- Be a team player that can communicate effectively across multiple work groups.
- Able to work autonomously and are self-motivated.
- To have high attention to detail and proud of your work standard.
