Seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to commence immediately

Backed by some of the most experienced and respected technicians in the industry, they specialise in the design, manufacture, servicing and repair of specialised waste equipment. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their highly skilled team.

Your new role

Working within a collaborative workshop environment, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of specialised waste equipment and associated heavy vehicle systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified mechanic seeking a variety of technical challenges and long-term career growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- Servicing and repairing waste compactors, hook-lift systems, skip loaders and associated equipment
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Performing preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Completing repairs and component replacements to a high standard




- Ensuring equipment remains compliant with safety and operational requirements
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
- Contributing to a safe and productive workshop environment

What you'll need to succeed

- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Experience working on heavy vehicles, truck-mounted equipment, hydraulics or mobile plant
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service information
- A strong commitment to safety
- Excellent communication skills and a positive team attitude
