Eagers Automotive Ltd is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support our vehicle sales and pre-delivery operations in Hobart.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, coordination and working with multiple departments to ensure vehicles are prepared and delivered efficiently. You will play an important role in supporting the customer delivery process while working within a fast-paced automotive workplace.
About the Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will provide administrative support across vehicle sales and pre-delivery functions, helping to ensure vehicles are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising and processing repair orders (ROs)
- Creating and managing purchase orders (POs)
- Assisting with the coordination of vehicle pre-delivery schedules
- Liaising with Sales, Parts, Workshop and Detailing teams
- Tracking vehicle preparation progress and delivery timelines
- Providing vehicle status updates to internal stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records within dealership management systems
- Assisting with registration and delivery administration
- Following up outstanding documentation and vehicle preparation requirements
- General administration and data entry duties
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the sales administration function
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous administration or office support experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills and confidence using business systems
- The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Automotive industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
