We are currently recruiting multiple Trailer Mechanics for our Larapinta workshop. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and the State manager, the Trailer Mechanics would perform repair and maintenance services on trailers.
Key responsibilities:
- Servicing and repairing of trailer equipment;
- Diagnosing problems and servicing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems;
- Rebuilding and assembly of trailer components where required;
- Working on preventative maintenance and inspections;
- General housekeeping & manual handling tasks around the workshop;
- Ability to perform basic welding is valued
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Relevant trade qualification as a diesel mechanic
- Previous experience working on trailers
- Positive communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Excellent work ethic and reliability
