This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded family law team in Brisbane CBD, working directly under an Accredited Specialist who is committed to mentoring and developing your skills.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team handling a diverse range of family law matters, including, assisting clients in parenting disputes, property settlements, divorce, spousal maintenance, child support, domestic and family violence matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing your own files under the guidance of an Accredited Specialist.
- Preparing court documents and appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Magistrates Court.
- Meeting with clients and providing explicit, compassionate legal advice.
- Instructing counsel and conducting legal research.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to hold a current Practising Certificate. Hold a current drivers licence and willing to travel for work. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

This role is based in Brisbane. You can expect some travel between other offices and courts from time to time.
