About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and solutions-driven professional to take ownership of our warranty and maintenance function, ensuring outstanding outcomes for homeowners, developers, and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Warranty Manager, you will play a critical role in coordinating defect rectification works, managing customer expectations, supporting the maintenance team, and driving continuous improvement across the customer journey during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

You will combine strong administrative capability, stakeholder management skills, and technical construction knowledge to deliver high-quality service while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage maintenance and warranty requests throughout the Defects Liability Period.

- Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, developers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

- Review, assess, and prioritise maintenance claims and defect reports.

- Monitor and track outstanding warranty items to ensure timely resolution.





- Prepare monthly reports and performance updates for senior leadership.

- Forecast workload volumes and assist with planning team resources and scheduling.

- Support and guide a team of maintenance administrators and coordinators to achieve department KPIs.

- Manage customer concerns and complaints professionally, delivering fair and commercially sound outcomes.

- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting within company systems.

- Ensure all maintenance assessments and rectification works align with:

- Victorian Guide to Standards and Tolerances

- National Construction Code (NCC)

- Relevant Australian Standards

- Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

About You

You are an organised and customer-focused professional with experience in residential construction, warranty administration, maintenance coordination, or customer service environments.

You enjoy solving problems, building relationships, and working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in residential construction maintenance, warranty, customer care, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of the NCC,



Australian Standards, and residential building practices.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve customer issues effectively.

- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Experience preparing reports and analysing operational data.

- Proficiency across Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.

- Experience leading or mentoring team members will be highly regarded.

- Certificate IV in Building & Construction (or equivalent) is advantageous.
